Overview

Play settings control behavior that applies to the overall Play, even if the trigger or actions are modified. These settings currently include controls that determine when the same record can run through the Play multiple times.

Rerun settings

By default, an automated Play runs once per matching record. When a company or person has already started a Play execution, Unify prevents that same record from future automated runs of the same Play. You can change this behavior by enabling reruns and setting a cooldown period. The available options are outlined below.
SettingBehavior
Allow Play to rerun on the same recordControls whether a company or person can run through the same Play more than once. When off, a record is suppressed after it starts a Play execution. When on, a record can run again after the configured cooldown has passed.
Only allow Plays to rerun on the same record afterSets the cooldown period before the same record can run through the same Play again. In-progress executions are still suppressed.
For example, if a record match Play has a 30 day cooldown, a company that matches today can run today, will be suppressed for the next 30 days, and can run again later if it still matches the trigger criteria.
Rerun settings are not shown for every trigger type. For example, lookalike company triggers currently do not support the same rerun setting.
