Overview

Administrators configure shared workspace details in Settings → General. This page controls the workspace name and domain, custom user fields, and shared display settings.

Workspace name and domain

Enter the workspace name or domain, then click Update beneath those fields. The name identifies the workspace in the workspace menu. Changing the domain starts a chat to update your company’s context. Review the confirmation, then click Update and start thread to proceed. This operation requires available chat credits.

Custom user fields

Custom user fields store information about each teammate, such as a territory or a regional booking link. The field definition is shared across the workspace, and each user has their own value. Use those values in sequence template variables.
1

Define the field

Under Custom user fields, click Create new. If fields already exist, click Update, then Create new.Enter a unique name and choose a type: String for text, Number, URL, or Email. For example, create a String field named “Territory.”
2

Save the definition

Click Save in the custom fields section. The field appears on user profiles throughout the workspace.
3

Fill in each user's value

Users can open Settings → Profile, click Edit, enter their value, and save. An administrator can also open a teammate’s profile from Settings → Users and edit it there.
To rename a field or change its type, return to Custom user fields and click Update. Review where the field is used before changing it. Deleting a field is permanent and can block sequence enrollments that rely on it.

Shared display settings

Under User customization, choose whether reps can customize their own home page. When this setting is off, administrators control the home page layout for reps. The toggle saves immediately. Under Fields, choose which standard company and person fields are available in tables, then click the Update button below that section. A field disabled here is also unavailable in a user’s column selection. For email identity and signatures, use the profile and mailbox controls described in Connect a mailbox.
