What are Sequences?

A sequence is a series of automated or manual steps that let you reach out to buyers and run sophisticated outbound at scale. Sequences are purpose-built for modern outbound sales with native AI capabilities and deep integration with the Unify platform. Once you’ve created a sequence, you can enroll people in it to automate your outreach. Sequence enrollments can be performed automatically from Plays, but you can also enroll people manually. Enrollments can then be monitored from the sequence details page to track their progress. Each enrollment tracks a Person’s lifecycle through the Sequence, including the mailbox used for sending, the step currently scheduled or completed, and the reason the enrollment is queued, started, blocked, paused, completed, bounced, or stopped.

What can a Sequence do?

Sequences can combine automated emails with manual work that should happen between emails, such as calls or action items. Emails can be personalized using template variables or smart snippets, and reply detection automatically ends enrollments when someone replies.
