Overview

Scheduled chats run a saved prompt on an interval or calendar schedule. Use them for work you repeat, such as reviewing target accounts each morning or preparing a weekly pipeline summary. Each run starts a new conversation. You can open its result, ask follow-up questions, and change the saved prompt for future runs.

Create a scheduled chat

1

Describe the recurring task

Open Scheduled chats from the chat history and click Create new. Describe the task and when it should run.For example:
Every Monday at 9 AM Pacific time, review my Outbound planning accounts list. Summarize each company’s saved name, domain, headcount, and owner in a table, ordered by headcount. Report any missing values.
Include the accounts or list to use, the information to check, and the result you expect. Each scheduled run needs enough context in the saved prompt to complete the task on its own.
2

Review the proposal

Chat presents the name, prompt, and schedule for review. Check that the prompt contains the actual recurring task and that the schedule has the intended time and timezone.Ask for any changes, then click Add scheduled chat to approve the proposal. Check the next run time in its confirmation.
3

Run it and inspect the result

In Scheduled chats, click Run now to try the saved prompt. Open the resulting conversation and review whether it returns the information you need.If you need to adjust the prompt, open the scheduled chat’s menu, choose Edit, and save your changes. The revised prompt applies to future runs.

Set up a schedule manually

To enter the prompt and schedule yourself, open the arrow beside Create new and choose Create manually. Give the scheduled chat a name, enter its prompt, and choose its frequency: Use Try it in chat to test the prompt before saving. Review the result in the new tab, return to the form to make any adjustments, and click Create when the prompt and schedule are ready. The same controls are available when you edit an existing scheduled chat.

Review and manage runs

Open the scheduled chat to see Previous runs, including each run’s status and conversation. Read the response when a run returns incomplete work: it may need more context in the saved prompt or access to a connected service. Scheduled runs execute without an interactive conversation, so the prompt should specify how to handle changing information. For example, tell a pipeline review to report that there are no matching opportunities when the search is empty. Add any recurring constraints, such as a territory or qualification criteria, to the saved prompt. Use the scheduled chat’s menu to Pause future runs. Choose Resume when you want it to run again, or Delete when you no longer need the schedule.

Troubleshooting

Allow pop-ups for Unify, then try again. The test opens its result in a new browser tab so you can return to the schedule form.
Open a previous run and identify what was missing or incorrect. Edit the saved prompt to include the needed context, then use Run now to check the revised task. Follow-up messages in a completed run belong to that conversation; edit the schedule to change future runs.
